Daniels' Running Formula...
This is the only running book I have purchased. It is great for folks who like to know a little about the science of running. The author makes it easy to understand. If you race, there are tables in the book - look up your time, and it will tell you what pace to run your easy runs, tempo runs, long runs, interval runs etc. It even tells you what, why, and when to run which type. I have the first edition; have not seen the second one.
